HPD Asks for Public Help Finding Missing Puna Woman

The Hawai`i Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 30-year-old Marina Cortez who was last seen on March 5 at 11:30 am in the area of Kamalii Road in lower Puna in a copper colored sedan. 

Cortez is described as 5-feet-5-inches tall, weighing 110 to 120 pounds, with shoulder length dark brown curly hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing jeans, a long-sleeved thermal sweater, and a yellow shirt. 

Police ask anyone with information on Cortez’s location to call Officer Laura Torres at the Pahoa Police Station at (808) 965-2716 or the police department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the island-wide Crime Stoppers number at (808) 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
