Woman Sought After Escaping Police Custody

The Hawai`i Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 24-year-old Kelia Armstrong who escaped from police custody on Monday, February 15 at approximately 11:45 a.m.

According to HPD, Armstrong is described as a Caucasian female, 5-feet-1-inches tall and 110 pounds, with long blonde hair and blue eyes.

She was last seen in the Pahoa area wearing a light blue athletic sports top, black leggings, and bare feet. 

Police ask anyone who sees Armstrong or knows her whereabouts to call 911.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the island-wide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.00.
