UPDATE: Police Located Wanted Fugitive

The Hawai`i Police Department reports that 26-year-old William Sullivan has been located.

On Sunday, February 3, the Leilani Neighborhood Watch reported his location to the police. According to authorities he was located and apprehended without further incident.

The Hawai`i Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in providing the whereabouts of a fugitive wanted for numerous charges, including: Assault Police Officer, Reckless Endangering, Resist Order to Stop and Resisting Arrest. 

William Sullivan is also wanted for questioning in several other criminal investigations.  This individual has no permanent address but is known to frequent the Puna area. 

Sullivan is a 26-year-old male described as 5-foot-11 and 175 pounds, with hazel eyes and brown hair.

Police ask that anyone with information on his whereabouts call Sergeant Aaron Carvalho at (808) 961-2272 or the Police Department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the island-wide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.00.
