UPDATE: Man Wanted on Outstanding Warrants Located

The Hawai`i Police Department has located a 25-year-old Puna man who was wanted for outstanding warrants.

At 8 a.m. on October 26, police arrested and charged Curtis Brown without incident.

Brown was apprehended in Pahoa Village for his two outstanding no bail warrants. He was further arrested and charged for Promotion of a Dangerous Drug 3 and Promotion of a Detrimental Drug 3 with bail set at $11,000.

Brown was taken to the Hilo cellblock pending his initial court appearance on October 29 in District Court.

Hawaiʻi Island Police have located a 25-year-old Puna man who was wanted for outstanding warrants.

At 8:00 a.m., Friday morning, (October 26), police arrested and charged Curtis Brown without incident. Brown was apprehended in Pahoa Village for his 2 outstanding no bail warrants. Brown was further arrested and charged for Promotion of a Dangerous Drug 3 and Promotion of a Detrimental Drug 3 with bail set at $11,000.

He was taken to the Hilo cellblock pending his initial court appearance on Monday (October 29) in District Court.

The Hawai`i Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in providing the whereabouts of a fugitive wanted for outstanding arrest warrants.

Police say this individual has no permanent address but frequents Pāhoa Town and other lower Puna areas.

Curtis Brown is a 25-year-old male described as 5-feet-10-inches and 145 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.
