The Hawai`i County Fire Department responded to a structure fire in Hawaiian Paradise Park on Monday morning.
Crews arrived at the corner of Paradise Drive and Beach Road at 9:14 a.m. to find a two story structure with fire and smoke within the bottom floor workshop and garage area.
The fire was deemed out by 9:26 a.m.
No one was home at the time of the fire.
The cause of the fire is currently undetermined and is under investigation by the Hawai`i Police Department and HFD inspectors.
HFD reports that damages are estimated to be $40,000.
