An ocean rescue was conducted by the Hawai`i County Fire Department on Sunday afternoon.
HFD crews responded to the ocean area at Paradise Alakai Drive and Kalika Road just before 6 p.m.
Two adult males who had been spear fishing were unable to get back to shore as a result of large surf and a rocky shoreline.
HFD officials say both divers were located about 100 yards off shore.
Chopper 1 was used with two rescue swimmer to extricate both divers using a Billy Pugh net.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
