UPDATE: HPD Reports Missing North Kohala Man is Dead

The Hawai`i Police Department has located the North Kohala man who had been reported missing.

Israel Victorino-Rabang, 23, was located Tuesday morning in Hawi.

Police say he is deceased.

The case is being investigated by the Area II Criminal Investigation Section as a Coroner’s Inquest.

No foul play is suspected, per HPD.

An autopsy will be conducted later this week to determine the exact cause of death.

The Hawai`i Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance with locating a North Kohala man who has been reported missing.

Twenty-three-year-old Israel Victorino-Rabang was last seen around 4:30 p.m. on Sunday afternoon. He was riding a skateboard on Kumakua Street in Hawi.

Police say he has a medical condition that requires medication.

Victorino-Rabang is described as about 5-feet-6-inches and 150 pounds. He has a medium complexion and long hair.

He was last seen wearing dark-colored shorts and no shirt.

Anyone who may have information of his whereabouts is asked to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.

On Monday, HPD noted that the individual was deemed “at risk.”
