BIW Staff May 3, 2018

The Department of Public Works has reopened the section of Pahoa-Pohoiki Road between Highway 132 (Kapoho Road) and Leilani Avenue.

On Wednesday the roadway was closed in both direction as a result of cracks in the pavement.

Officials say a  metal plate is now in place covering damaged pavement.
