UPDATE: Kona Man Sought on $200K Warrants Arrested

At 6:20 p.m. on Sunday evening, February 11, 26-year-old Kuoio Kukua was arrested without incident in Kona, according to the Hawai`i Police Department.

The Area II Special Enforcement Unit of the Hawai`i Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Kuoio Kukua, a 26-year-old who resides in the Kona district.

Kukua is wanted on multiple outstanding warrants of arrest totaling $200,000.

Police describe Kukua as 5-feet-10-inches and approximately 150 pounds. They say he is a local male with black hair, multiple tattoos, the most visible being on the neck and both arms.
