A single family home in North Kohala burned on Sunday.
Hawai`i County Fire Department firefighers responded to the scene just after 7 p.m. where they found a single family home fully engulfed in flames.
HFD reports that propane tanks were exploding and venting; and live power lines had fallen to the ground blocking the main access to the home.
The fire was deemed out at 11:30 p.m.
No one was home at the time of the fire. The cause of the fire is currently unknown and under investigation.
A total of 22 firefighters responded during the incident.
