The Hawai`i County Fire Department responded to a structure fire in Pahoa on Monday.
Firefighters arrived on scene 8:25 p.m. to find a Lehua Road home fully engulfed in flames.
The fire at the 1,300 square-foot home had spread to brush and foliage in the surrounding area.
HFD deemed the fire under control at 8:40 p.m. and completely out at 10 p.m.
Structured loss was totaled at 195,000.
Cause of the fire remains under investigation.
