The Hawai`i Police Department has arrested three men and one woman in the Aug. 2015 murder of a 71-year-old Holualoa man.
According to HPD, the arrests stem from an ongoing investigation that began with finding the decedent, Dolores Borja Valle, M-71, in a coffee field in the Captain Cook area of Kona.
The Area II Criminal Investigation Section detectives the following individuals for Murder II, and Accomplice to Murder II:
27-year-old Eber Miranda-Garcia, 24-year-old Marlon Miranda-Garcia, 32-year-old Jessilyn Lokelani Hoohuli on June 26. Thirty-five-year-old Himer Miranda-Garcia was arrested on June 27. All four are from Holualoa.
The arrests were a result of an extensive investigation, which included the recent receiving of DNA results, according to HPD.
In addition, HPD notes that the three male parties arrested are brothers.
