Authorities Seek Whereabouts of Wanted Individuals

The Hawai`i Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in providing the whereabouts of three people wanted for outstanding bench warrants. These individuals have no known connection to each other; however all have ties to the Volcano area in the Puna District.

Kealii Waiamau, 24-year-old male described as 6-feet-2-inches, 250 pounds, brown eyes and black hair.

Derek Agcalon, 51-year-old male described as 5-feet-9-inches, 180 pounds, brown eyes and black hair.

David Mercado, 30-year-old male described as 5-feet-8-inches, 195 pounds, brown eyes and black hair.

HPD asks anyone with information on these individuals to call Community Policing Officer Jeremy Kubojiri at the Pahoa Police Station number 965-2716 or the police department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the island wide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
