The Hawai‘i County Department of Parks and Recreation will host a shoreline fishing and one pot cooking class for keiki this summer out of the department’s Waiakea Recreation Center.
Each program, available for youth ages 10 through 17, will run from June 19 through July 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
P&R’s Shoreline Fising course will take place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Registration is $20.
The Keiki One Pot Cooking course will take place on Tuesday’s only. Registration is $30.
Registration is ongoing and is limited to the first 12 participants for each program.
